Christian Leblanc

Christian Leblanc est associé au cabinet d’avocats Fasken à Montréal. Il représente de nombreux clients dans diverses industries désireux de protéger et de faire valoir leurs droits en matière de propriété intellectuelle et de technologie de pointe. Plaideur chevronné, il a agi au nom de clients devant la Cour suprême du Canada de même que tous les tribunaux du Québec et différents tribunaux administratifs.

Christian agit pour certaines des plus grandes entreprises médias au Canada dans des questions de liberté de presse et de liberté d’expression. Il intervient également dans le cadre de procédures extraordinaires auxquelles les médias sont parfois confrontés, telles les injonctions de prépublication et les saisies de matériel journalistique.

Christian est membre Canadian Media Lawyers Association qu’il a présidé de 2013 à 2015 et membre de des Journalistes canadiens pour la liberté d’expression (CJFE).

Christian LeBlanc is a partner with the Fasken law firm In Montréal. He represents clients from various industries who want to protect their intellectual property and high technology rights. A seasoned litigator, Christian has acted on behalf of clients before the Supreme Court of Canada as well as courts of every level in Quebec and different administrative tribunals.

Christian has particular knowledge of media and communications law, and acts on behalf of some of the largest media companies in Canada in matters related to freedom of the press and freedom of speech. He also intervenes in extraordinary proceedings in which the media are sometimes involved, such as pre-publication bans and seizures of journalistic material.

Christian is a member of Canadian Media Lawyers Association, which he chaired from 2013 to 2015, and of the Canadian Journalists for Freedom of Expression (CJFE).
