Ahead of World Press Freedom Day, the M20 and the Centre for Information Integrity in Africa (CINIA) hosted live webinar on Tuesday 28 April to examine the issues facing media freedom and how to counter them.
The webinar featured a panel discussion moderated by Janet Heard, with contributions from Rawan Damen from Arab Reporters for Investigative Journalism, Dr Yemisi Akinbobola from African Women in Media, Zecharias Zelalem, an award winning freelance journalist and analyst, and Anya Schiffrin from Columbia University
