CINIA’s Prof Herman Wasserman at the ‘AI for Africa Conference’

CINIA Director Prof Herman Wasserman participated in a panel on ‘Information Integrity and AI’ at the ‘AI for Africa Conference’ hosted by the Presidency, in conjunction with the African Union and with the support of the G20 and UNESCO.

Other members of the panel were Prof Sisanda Nkoala (University of the Western Cape), Leslie Richer (African Union), Dr Victor Shale (Independent Electoral Commission of South Africa), Churchill Otieno (African Editors’ Forum) and Dr Eileen Carter (African Network of Human Rights Institutes).
